I tend to blather frequently about some of the things I love but isn't that what passionate enthusiasm is for? To bore your loved ones into a coma with? So that every time someone mentions any TV show they suddenly stop meeting your eyes, hoping to escape the inevitable EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD NEEDS TO WATCH FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS rant?
Anyway. The new Nick Cave album is great. Everybody needs to listen to it. It makes me want to read Thomas Hardy and drink bourbon and frequently call things 'banal and jejune' and move to New York, since that appears to be the only US city they'll be playing in anytime soon.
And, of course, don't forget - YOU NEED TO BE WATCHING FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.
