Ta-Nehisi Coates writes about national politics, music, comics, some TV, and race. (He also touches on football but those posts really might as well be in Greek.) It's valuable to expand my own thoughts about these things, to see them from another perspective, and his writing is almost always interesting, sometimes stirring, and sometimes delightfully crafty, as in:
"...the good old days, when the press and John McCain used to exchange cupcakes, read Tiger Beat, and then strip down to their undies and have a tickle-fight..."
