Monday mild amusement

For someone who doesn't eat out very often I take excessive pleasure in restaurant reviews, and none more so than this lady: she tends to be both acid and NY dining scene insidery, so I often don't get what she's talking about, but anyone who describes overcooked french fries as the colour of John Boehner gets my vote for worthwhile reading.
