3 day weekend!

I'm reminded of all the unexpected Catholic holidays in Gabon - Assumption, etc. Happy Good Friday!

These muffins are good - a little sweet - but that might be my fault for using the zest of an exceedingly elderly grapefruit and orange flower water instead of vanilla. Also, whey instead of buttermilk, but that is a fairly reasonable substitution.

Also, pizza w/ some of last week's tomato sauce, both fresh and dry mozzarella, roasted asparagus, and sopressata from Butcher = A+, especially paired with a raw kale* + roasted beet salad w/ a garlicky preserved lemon dressing, some white wine, and some Battlestar Galactica. (1 - every decision Tigh has ever made has made everything worse! 2 - HOW does Baltar keep landing on his feet?)

* Would be better if I'd known to massage the kale so as to make it a little less crunchy - oh well, next time.
