The salad below

is a nice complement to a stew of cumin, onion, pepper powder, garlic, sweet potato, black beans, chipotle in adobo, and the leftover sausage from Monday... liberally studded with goat cheddar curds from the farmers' market. I hadn't had any wine at home for a month or so but found it hard to imagine that dish without something red (and it didn't go badly w/ the whole wheat chocolate chip cookie I had for dessert, either.)
