Assorted

1. It is an absurdly beautiful day here. I hate spring in DC - such a tricky season, always receding - but it is perfect in New Orleans.
2. Anybody's quality of life is improved 15% upon deployment of a hammock.
3. Life is good.
4. Life is also sometimes rather trying. I am attempting to learn/grow/whatnot/blah blah crunchy earnestness from the trying bits, but really I am totally craven and just want to fast forward through them.
5. I am exceedingly grateful that someone I love is out of a stressful, dangerous situation and entering a smoother phase of life.
6. And that I get to see him this week!
7. I am getting closer and closer to deciding that I don't want to leave New Orleans when I graduate.
