Peace

It has been a good/useful/interesting/fun summer, but a little frenetic. It was nice to cancel all my plans last night, go home, make corn fritters w/ chili sauce and plum cake, drink some wine, read a mystery novel, play with the cat I'm taking care of, listen to NPR, do a little thinking, and go to bed early; an unremarkable evening, but a precious one.
