Restorative

This weekend I did pretty much nothing. I took the cat to the vet, I bought her more toys as an apology for the indignities she suffered there, I watched some SVU, I did some Christmas shopping, I made chocolate gingersnaps (wicked good - wish I'd included the crystallized ginger suggestion), I ate some fondue, I did some serious apartment and room cleaning, I did some lazy yoga, I read a couple good books - but basically I was totally unambitious and slothful, and it was great. I'm going to CA for 2 weeks on Friday, and it's going to be wonderful but w/ minimal solitary time, so it was nice to stockpile some quality introversion before the holidays.
