can make me so happy. I love using stuff up, and I love when a recipe/concoction remains interesting after its initial debut. (When something gets boring after the first meal, that's the WORST.) And sometimes unplanned leftover combinations are shockingly good - a hurriedly thrown-together mishmash of last week's red beans and rice over mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli drenched in the lemony, garlicky sauce from Monday's chicken, finished w/ a mild blizzard of chopped flat-leaf parsley has been keeping me happy for 3 days.
(Yes, the last post means I had a loss of equilibrium. Everything is ok for now - and I know what work I need to do to improve my emotional balance for the future.)
